Within the OMX platform, you are able to view, respond to, and create your own opportunities (depending on your level of subscription). You can search for opportunities that match your organization's capabilities from the Marketplace tab on your company dashboard.
Once in the Marketplace, select 'Opportunities' to start browsing.
Opportunities can be filtered by opportunity type, capability, country, organization, ownership, size and where they are curated from. Opportunity filtering allows you to save time when looking for opportunities relevant to your organization. To filter your opportunity results, select the filter icon in the upper right corner of the search results.
Select 'More Filters' to see the full range of filter options.
Once you have entered all of the specifications that you wish to filter by, click 'Apply' to search the opportunities on OMX.
When you have found an opportunity that you are interested in and clicked on it from the Opportunity search results, you will be able to see specific information on that Request for Proposal (RFP), including an expanded description, expiry date, etc.
Once you have clicked on an RFP, you may have the option to ask a question to the company posting the opportunity at the bottom of the page. Note that these questions and their responses will be posed publicly; however, your company name will remain hidden from the public post. The buyer posting the opportunity will be able to see your organization name.
To respond to an opportunity, RFI, RFQ or RFP that you are interested in, click 'Respond' in the upper right corner. OMX provides buyers the ability to select their preferred method of supplier response. Your response options will appear as a dropdown from the 'Respond' button.
If you select 'Respond through OMX', you will be directed to a template form in which you can fill in your company information, including your response, costs, domestic content and any attachments that you wish to share with the posting company.
When you are finished putting together your response, you can 'Save as Draft' to review later or 'Save and Submit' to submit your response directly to the buyer.
