If you're a trade association, business chamber, business cluster, or other alliance or membership granting organization, you can use the OMX B2B network as a simple and easy way to track your current membership through some exclusive tools.
In order to get set up as an association on OMX please contact our support team at email@example.com.
Once we have you set up as an association you'll have access to some new tools, as well as your organization will begin to show up in search filters and drop down menus across the platform as an association.
From your dashboard you will now have a 'Memebers' area under Settings > Organizations > Members.
Your profile will now also contain a membership join request button, whereby organizations in the OMX B2B network can request to become part of your association. Existing members of your association can identify themselves through this method.
Once an organzation requests to join your association, the request icon will turn blue. They can withdraw their request at any time by clicking the icon again.
Under the members area on your dashboard you will be able to see all your existing members, all members who have requested to join your association, along with the ability to add existing members to your membership list from the OMX marketplace.
To accept a membership request, simply click the check mark icon under the 'Approve?' column. Or to reject the membership request, click the X icon.
To add a new member manually click the 'Add Member' button and the "Add Members" option will appear.
Start typing the name of the organization you'd like to add to your membership - note that the organization must have a profile in the OMX marketplace to appear in the drop down option here. The organization does not need to be paying or have users on OMX, but must at the very least need to have a profile.
Once you have selected the organization, by clicking on their name and then clicking the blue 'Add' button, they will now appear in your members section.
If you wish to remove an existing member from your member you can do so by clicking the X under the remove column by their record. They can re-join by either requesting to do so from the marketplace or you can re add them using the 'Add Member' function.
Once an organization has joined your association, your logo will appear on their profile page under the 'Associations' section.
As well, organizations will also be able to search for other organizations a part of your association under the search filters in the OMX marketplace.
